Prompt: Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

What I learned about myself through figurative language was that it can compare to bigger things in my life . What I mean by this Is a metaphor and simile can compare to things that can lead to a bigger picture in life and something that I can relate to.  Figurative language can compare to almost any situation in life making it a lesson for my future. Without figurative language in my life, it would be hard to talk about how I feel and harder to have an understanding.
