Prompt: After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

The rhetorical device that is most compelling to me is an understatement. I say this because I can use it in my everyday life. It is the one rhetorical device that I use almost every day. It is helpful when I am writing or speaking. This rhetorical device has connected with me more than all the other ones. In summary, an understatement is the most compelling to me because I can use it easily in my everyday life.
