Prompt: In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

I am most proud of the social aspect of my teen culture. I say this because I like all my friends and I am glad to meet new people. I am also proud of how nice my friends are. I like how if I am nice to them, they are nice to me. I also like how they are good people. I wanted to have some friends who aren't nice, but I chose the right crowd and being with good people.

Summary: Today in class, I read a poem.

Reflection: Today in class, I analyzed a new poem and improved my annotation skills.
