Prompt: Miss Emily’s house once represented pride and tradition, but over time it became a symbol of decay and isolation. Describe a place that holds deep memories for you—positive or negative—and explain how it reflects part of who you are or how you’ve changed over time.

A place that holds deep memories to me is my room. It is a positive development because it has evolved over the years. I have stayed in the same room all my life. Over the years, my room has become more diverse than it used to be. I have posters, collectibles, and plenty of things that I thought I would never like when I was younger. My room has changed over time just like how I have been.

Summary: Today in class, I read "A Rose for Emily".

Reflection: Today in class, I learned what the word "decree" means in the text.
