After reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem "Constantly Risking Absurdity," which explores the poet's daring craft, write about your most absurd personal experience. Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.

My most absurd personal experience occurred when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I used to jump off things from high places. It would stress my parents out because they thought I would get hurt. I ended up hurting my knees badly one time and decided to stop doing it.

Summary: Today in class, I analyzed the poem "Constantly Risking Absurdity."

Reflection: Today in class, I learned more about an extended metaphor.
